Daniel Brown

Daniel Brown is a PEI director, writer, and editor with a background in journalism. He has three short films under his production company, Neato Films, for which he’s earned several awards - namely the PEI Arts Grant (2020), the Classics at City Cinema Emerging Filmmaker Award (2021) and The 48 Hour Film Project’s Best Editing in Atlantic Canada (2022). He also produces a comedy sketch series, is the visual director for a provincial docuseries, and was accepted as an AIFF Filmmaker Lab fellow in 2023.
