Bianca Pilar Garcia Ureña

Bianca is an influencer, community organizer, and co-founder of the Black Collective Media, the first published magazine for Black folks by Black folks in PEI. Her work has been featured in CBC East Coast, CBC being Black in Canada, The Buzz, ByBlacks, and CTV. Her experience with community management developed through her time working with BIPOC USHR and the Black Culture Society. She was the digital marketing coordinator for Jems Boutique where she also held the position as creative director for the first P.E.I Fashion Weekend in 2022. Bianca was chosen by Black Women Film to participate in the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival with 15 other Black women creators and filmmakers across Canada.
